WNEA Scholarship — Memorial Scholarship and General Scholarships

The WNEA Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that there will be two memorial scholarships this coming school year in memoriam of Connie Stanton and Mary Jane Robertson. Mrs. Stanton was a kindergarten teacher in our Kimmswick building, while Ms. Robertson was a communication arts teacher in our Middle School building. With nearly sixty years of service in the C-1 District, both were active members of the WNEA and recipients of the “Teacher of the Year” Distinction. Per the wishes of Mrs. Stanton’s family, her scholarship will be dedicated to one entering the education or service field, while Mary Jane’s family wishes that her scholarship be for education or related to the first-responder career field.

Applicants wishing to apply for the scholarship will need to fill out an application from our website or they can pick one up at the High School from the Counselor’s Office. Candidates that are selected will need to provide information about academics, character, and go through an interview. Recipients will be notified in May.

For those wishing to make contributions to their Memorial Scholarships, please contact the WNEA Scholarship committee at: 636. 464. 4429. The point of contact is either Mrs. Janet Taylor or Mr. William Brooks.

Please check periodically for updated information.
