 Windsor C-1 School District

Names Jason King As

New Superintendent for 2022-2023

The Windsor C-1 School District Board of Education has approved Mr. Jason King, as the Superintendent for the 2022-2023 school year, on a 7-0 vote; he will be replacing Dr. Joel B. Holland, who is retiring after 32 years, of which 13 include serving the Windsor C-1 School District.

Mr. King has been serving as the Superintendent of the Bismarck R-5 School District in Bismarck, Missouri for the past 5 years.  During Mr. King’s 20-year educational career, he served 7 years as an English and Social Studies Teacher, and 8 years as a building level administrator.

Mr. King is currently concluding his Doctor of Education Degree from William Woods University.  He currently holds an Educational Specialist Degree and a Master in Education Degree from William Woods University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

Board President, Tim McCraw states, “Jason King comes highly recommended; we did a thorough research of him and the one thing that was a constant, which coincided with my impression in visiting with him, was the high quality of individual that he is.  Jason is very genuine, down to earth, and has the qualities that I believe our Windsor C-1 staff will relate to.  He is definitely someone that our teachers and administrators can work effectively and cooperatively with”.

Vice President, Scott Brothers believes that Jason is a “great fit for the District”.  “I was impressed with how Jason handled himself during the interview process.  He was extremely calm, poised, and has a very genuine demeanor; it is also very evident that he is a very caring and sincere person, as well.  I believe we are very fortunate to have him as our next Superintendent”.

Mr. King stated that he is “very excited about the opportunity and is anxiously looking forward to learning about the District and developing strong relationships.  Everyone that I have spoken to has nothing but praise for the Windsor C-1 School District.  I have heard so many wonderful things about the dedicated staff and administrators and the support of the Board of Education.  I certainly look forward to joining the Windsor family and I am very thankful that the District selected me out of many highly qualified candidates.”

Mr. King is a 1998 graduate of West County High School and has been married to his wife, Janna, since 2002.  Jason and Janna have two daughters, Janson and Jacey.   He will begin his duties on July 1, 2022.
