How to Find a MAC Address


  1. Click on the Start Menu or press the Windows key.
  2. Click on the Settings icon.
  3. Click on Network & Internet.
  4. Click on Ethernet on the left pane.
  5. Click on the wireless connection you want to connect with.
  6. Under Properties you’ll see “Physical address (MAC)”.

  2. System Preferences -> Network
  3. Select your network connection.
  4. Click “Advanced”.
  5. In the Hardware tab you’ll find MAC Address.

Settings -> General -> About

Your MAC Address is listed as “Wi-Fi Address”.

  1. Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Wi-Fi
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Wi-Fi preferences”.
  3. In here you’ll find the MAC Address.
  1. Click in the status area (time) in the lower-right.
  2. Click on the wireless icon.
  3. Click on the “i” icon in the upper right.
  4. The “Wi-Fi” address is your MAC address.
