Ashley (Haegele) Ali -Class of 2004
Dr. Ashley Ali is the Class of 2004 Valedictorian. While at Windsor, she participated in Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, Track and performed in Show Choir. She won numerous athletic awards including All-Conference and All-District Basketball selections as well as Jefferson County MVP and KTJJ Dream Team. She continued her basketball career at Jefferson College where she was chosen as a NJCAA 1st All-Conference and 1st Team All-Region player. Because of her accomplishments at Jefferson College she received a basketball scholarship to Florida Gulf Coast University. While there she was voted team captain and played in the NCAA Division II National Championship game. She was selected as a second team All-Conference player in the Atlantic Sun Conference. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast.
As a Medical School Student she is a member of the AOA Medical School Honor Society for being in the top 10% of medical students. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. She received the Rodney M. Coe Distinction in Community Service Award-the Distinction in research Award and the Gold Humanism Award. She performs all of the athletic physicals for the Univ. of Southern Florida, St. Leo Univ. and many local high schools. She currently resides in Tampa Florida and is an Orthopedic Surgery Resident.
Kurt Bauer – Class of 1977
Mr. Bauer is married and has two children, Jordan and Olivia. Mr. Bauer is the President and CEO of Nomadix Inc. Mr. Bauer graduated from Windsor High School in 1977, third in his class. During his tenure at Windsor, he was active in basketball, cross-country and track. As a four-year varsity basketball player he set a number of school records and received state and local honors.
Troy Cardona – Class of 1981
Mr. Cardona is a Circuit Judge for the State of Missouri in the 23rd Circuit of Jefferson County. Mr. Cardona graduated from Windsor High School in 1981. In addition, he has served as a Boxer/Coach/Organizer of the Backstopper’s Main Event and Guns and Hoses Boxing Event, Hand n’ Hand Help Center Board of Directors, a member of both the Windsor Baptist Church and Imperial Business Persons Group. His high school activities included: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track, National Honor Society, and President of his Senior Class.
Eric Casciaro – Class of 2001
Mr. Casciaro is a 2001 graduate of Windsor High School, where he graduated 3rd in his class. During his high school years, he was a 2-time Conference Tennis Champion, Tennis Team MVP, and a 2001 Scholar Athlete of the Year; he was also a member of the Student Council, National Honor Society (where he served as Treasurer), Math Club, History Club, Weight Lifting, Boy’s State representative, and was the 2001 Prom King.He also won various awards in Math, Science, and Spanish.After graduation from Windsor High, Mr. Casciaro attended the University of Missouri on a Bright Flight Scholarship, where he was the Electrical Engineer of the Year and graduated Suma Cum Laude with the #1 ranking in his Electrical Engineering graduating class.Mr. Casciaro is currently the Co-Owner of Quantum Solutions, Inc, which is an Automation and Controls Engineering Company; he resides in Imperial, MO. Mr. Casciaro has stayed actively involved with the Windsor School District, including his position as Assistant Tennis Coach in 2008, where he helped guide the team to the Conference Championship in 2008.
Chris Connor – Class of 2001
Dr. Christopher Connor is the class of 2001 Valedictorian. While at Windsor High School he participated in track and served as the trainer for the FB team. He was a member of the National Honor Society and attended the Missouri Scholars’ Academy as well as Missouri Boys State in Warrensburg. He received a Curators Scholarship to attend the University of Missouri at Columbia. While at Mizzou, he was consistently on the Dean’s List and was a delegate for the Missouri State Medical Association and was also a counselor for the Missouri State Medical Association. He currently is a partner and treasurer for the Scott Radiological Group and The Chairman of the Dept. of Radiology at the Mercy Hospital-Jefferson.
Jamie Critchlow – Class of 1992
Mr. Critchlow is the Offensive Coordinator-Offensive Line for Texas A&M University – Commerce. Mr. Critchlow was a member of Student Council, Football, Track, and Weight Lifting. He received All-Conference for Offensive Line and Defensive Line and was All-State his Junior and Senior year.Mr. Critchlow went on to play college football at Oregon State University were he received Honorable Mention All PAC 10 in 1996, 1995 Rookie of the Year, and 1996 Dee Andro’s Award.
Fred Dehner – Class of 1984
Mr. Dehner is the General Manager of Tan-Tar-A Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks. Mr. Dehner graduated from Windsor High School in 1984. In addition, he has served as a member of the Lake Shore Clean Up, City of Osage Beach Commission Appointments: Planning and Zoning Commission, TIF Commission, and Lake of the Ozarks – Tri-County/convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. He was recently recognized for a number of charitable contributions including: Dream Factory and Lake Shore Clean Up Efforts. His high school activities included: Student Council and Basketball.
Stephany Dueker – Class of 1994
Mrs. Dueker is a Windsor graduate who earned all-conference, all-district, all-region and KTJJ Dream Team honors as a volleyball standout at Windsor High School. She also participated in basketball, track, student council, honor society, pep club, marching band, SADD, and was the statistician for the football team. She was not simply an athlete, but a student/athlete, as she also earned the Anatomy, Speech, Spanish I, II and III awards, while being selected as a Post Dispatch Scholar Athlete.
Stephany went on to attend Missouri Baptist, where she participated in volleyball and basketball. She was selected for the volleyball all-conference and All-American teams. She was also involved in the Science Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude, as well as being named as an Academic All-American.
Stephany is currently teaching at Windsor High School, where she is the Science Department leader, having earned the awards of WNEA Teacher of the Year and the Windsor High School Teacher of Distinction. She has been the head coach of the volleyball team for 13 seasons and the head track coach for 11 seasons. She also coached basketball, previously for 10 years. Her teams have won various conference and district titles during her tenure, while producing 24 collegiate players.
Dr. William Duke – Class of 1993
Dr. Duke is Chief of Division of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery within in Jefferson City Medical Group. Dr. Duke was ranked 3rd in his high school class, received the Clinton R. Lesser Leadership Award, a member of the Varsity Football (All District his Senior Year), Varsity Baseball, Science Club, Pep Club, Junior Fire Marshalls (Vice President), National Honor Society President, Student Council, SADD, FCA, Show Choir, and TREND. Dr. Duke volunteers his time for the local high school football team. Furthermore, he was recently recognized as top 1% of physicians nationwide from local hospital patient satisfaction survey.
Mrs. Carol Engelbach is being recognized as an honorary member of the Windsor C-1 Hall of Fame, as she has dedicated herself to the community and the Windsor C-1 School District for much of her adult life. She served as a member of the Windsor C-1 School Board from 2000-2009. She has served as treasurer on the last 3 bond campaigns for the District. She was a founding member of the Windsor Mothers Club in 1974 and served in that role for many years. She has volunteered in numerous capacities in the District, including room mother and guest reader to 1st graders.
Stewart Foley – Class of 1982
Mr. Foley is an investment consultant. Mr. Foley attended University of Missouri for his bachelor’s degree and graduated with honors. He graduated in 2003 with his MBA from University of Chicago where he was Class President. Mr. Foley graduated from Windsor High School in 1982: he was the President of National Honor Society and a member of Photography. Mr. Foley is currently a Chicago Scholarship donor, Windsor High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation Board Member, and a member of the University of Hartford Investment Advisory Council.
Mr. Garner is being recognized as an honorary member of the Windsor C-1 Hall of Fame, as he has dedicated the majority of his adult life to the Windsor C-1 School District, totaling over 60 years of service. Mr. Garner took charge of a local Boy Scout group in 1952, as their scout master and has continued to remain with the Boy Scouts ever since that time; he has done many projects for the school through the Eagle Scouts, at no cost to the District. He also served on the Windsor C-1 Board of Education for 13 years, having served as the President, as well as serving as President of the Booster Club and of the P.T.A. In addition, he has operated the score clock for all home football games for 43 years, as well as initiating the first little league baseball and softball teams to the area. Mr. Garner has also served the District, in his cooperation with the school, for his work with the Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival.
In addition to his service to the District, Mr. Garner also served our country, by spending 1 year in the Army in A signal Battalion in Korea and 3 years in the Air Force, where he ranked as a staff sergeant. His commitment and dedication to the Windsor C-1 School District are second to none.
Don Grimshaw -Class of 1981
Mr. Grimshaw graduated from Windsor High School in 1981. Don has served in education for 29 years in various capacities. He taught Social Studies and coached several sports at Windsor in the early 80’s and for the last 25 years has been an administrator in the Fox C-6 District. The last 20 years of his career, he served as the Head Principal at Seckman High School and has received numerous citations and awards of excellence for that role.
Kevin Grimshaw – Class of 1984
Mr. Grimshaw is the Deputy Chief of the Rock Community Fire Department. Mr. Grimshaw was involved in Concert Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, Shop Club, Track and Junior Fire Marshal. Mr. Grimshaw received All District Band, NAJE Awards, and Shop Award. Mr. Grimshaw attended Southeast Missouri State University where he participated in Rugby, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. Mr. Grimshaw currently oversees all public education for the fire district, CERT, TeenCERT, fire academy for special needs kids, CPR training, and first aid training. Mr. Grimshaw has received the Training Leadership Ward, Service Award for 25 years of Service, Jefferson County Fire Marshall Award for promoting fire prevention in the Community, and Achievement Award for Technical Rescue Technician.
Nicki Hollmann (Rawlings) – Class of 1987
Ms. Hollmann attended school in the Windsor School District from Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 1987. Ms. Hollmann participated in the volleyball and basketball programs through high school, being awarded first team and honorable mention recognition for volleyball. Ms. Hollmann furthered her education earning a Bachelor of Science Degree at Southeast Missouri State University with a major in Criminal Justice. In 1990, she joined the St. Louis County Police Department as a patrol officer. In 1991, she was selected to a position as a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration. She has been stationed in Kansas City, The Bahamas, Tampa and Washington DC. During her tenure with the DEA, Ms. Hollmann was awarded the DEA’s Award of Valor. Ms. Hollmann is the daughter of Robert Hollmann, retired Festus school teacher and football coach and Dinah Hollmann, retired Windsor Elementary School teacher. Ms. Hollmann is the older sister to Windsor graduates Lindsay and Leslie. Ms. Hollmann is married to Robert Rawlings, U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Pilot, and is the step mother to 12 year old Alexandrea Rawlings.
Tina Huhn – Class of 1974
Mrs. Huhn is a 1974 graduate of Windsor High School, where she participated in volleyball, then went on to attend Jefferson College. She enrolled as a student in the Windsor C-1 School District in the Fall of 1962 and didn’t miss a year until her retirement in 2011, as Tina went to work immediately for the District upon her graduation from high school, even while attending college. Tina spent 37 years with the District as the high school counseling registrar; all toll she spent 49 consecutive years as a Windsor Owl.
Corey Lawson – Class of 1998
Mr. Lawson is the Owner and Entrepreneur of rBar, LLC and SCL Weldings. Mr. Lawson was a member of Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Honor Society. Mr. Lawson received numerous awards for his achievements in both football and baseball. Baseball achievements include: 1997-98 21-3 Conference Champs, District Champs, and Sectional Finalist, WHS MVP,Jefferson County Conference MVP, 1st team All Conference Pitcher and Third Base, 1st Team All District Pitcher and Third Base, 1st Team All Metro, 1st Team All State, KREI-KJFF Dream Team and Player of the Year (first in 20 year history to be named player of the year in the seam school year in two different sports), Missouri State All Star Team, and 1997 Nominee St. Louis Amateur Baseball Rising Star Award. In football, Mr. Lawson received the Jefferson County Conference MVP (2nd year), 1st Team All Conference Running Back, 1st Team All Conference Line Backer, 1st Team All District Running Back, 1st Team All District Line Backer, 1st Team All Metro, 1st Team All State, Missouri State Title Regular Season Rushing Yards (1678), KREI-KJFF Dream Team Running Back, KREI-KJFF Dream Team Line Backer, KREI-KJFF Dream Team Offensive Player of the Year, KREI-KJFF Dream Team Defensive Player of the Year, 1997 Journal Athlete of the Year, 1997 Leader Best Athlete, and 1997 Windsor High School Football Player of the Year. Mr. Lawson is the son of Wayne and Kris Lawson and the brother to Shannon Kallenberger and Mellisa Hoch.
David Mangelsdorf – Class of 1970
Mr. Mangelsdorf is married to Ms. Glenna Chilton. He and his wife have a son, Zachery. Mr. Mangelsdorf is the President of Home Service Oil Company. He currently serves on the Jefferson County Growth and Development Association Board of Directors, is President of the Jefferson County Port Authority, and a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA in Festus.
Joe Morrel – Class of 2001
Mr. Morrel is a lawyer at Porter and Hedges, LLP. His recent accomplishments have been law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn Dineen King of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Grand Chancellor, which is awarded to the student with the highest GPA at the University of Texas School of Law. John Wegmann Award, which is awared to the most outstanding business undergraduate at Loyola Univeristy, New Orleans. Mr. Morrell graduated from Windsor High School in 2001. Mr. Morrel was a member of Varsity Baseball and Football where he received All-Conference Honorable Mention Infielder and All-Conference Honorable Mention Quarterback. He was Salutatorian of his class and was actively involved in Student Council and National Honors Society.
Sandy Overberg – Class of 1972
Mrs. Sandy Overberg is a 1972 Windsor graduate. While at Windsor she was a cheerleader, member of the Pep Club, German Club, Band, Future Teachers of America, Science Club, Student Council, Office Aide and a Homecoming Candidate. She was recognized with the Band Award and was voted by her classmates as having the most school spirit and best dressed her junior year.
After graduating Windsor, she attended Hickey Business College. She is a member of the Jefferson County YMCA-serving as a Board Member, where she helps to organize the YMCA Christmas House tour and serves on the YMCA Dinner Auction Committee, the YMCA Twin City Days 5k Committee and Kimmswick 5k Committee. She is the church organist at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and also serves as the Sunday School Supt. Currently she is an owner of Home Service Oil Co.
Greg Patterson – Class of 1999
Mr. Patterson graduated from Windsor High School in 1999. As a student at Windsor High School, he excelled both in the classroom and on the athletic field while participated in numerous school activities. Mr. Patterson is the owner of American Lawn Care and Landscape. He has dedicated many hours to the youth sports programs of the Windsor C-1 School District, in particular, his leadership of the Little Owls Football & Wrestling programs.
Barry Randolph – Class of 1976
Mr. Randolph is the President and CEO of a $480 million banking company with 9 locations across Missouri. Mr. Randolph was a member of the Varsity Football, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Baseball and Honors Society. Mr. Randolph’s community involvement entails: Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club (Past President) Optimist Club (Past President), Habitat for Humanity (Past Board Member), First Presbyterian Church (Treasurer for 15 years), United Way Board Member (3 terms), Industrial Development Board Member (1 term), City Planning and Zoning Board Member (2 terms), and Missouri Bankers Association (Government Relations Committee Member). Mr. Randolph is the son of Donald and Rozella Randolph. Mr. Randolph has been married to his college sweetheart, Brenda, for nearly 29 years. His greatest accomplishment has been raising two sons, Brian and Aaron, one that will graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in May and the other in December of next year.
Jeff Roorda – Class of 1983
Mr. Roorda is married and has three daughters. Mr. Roorda is our State Representative. In addition, he has served on the Antonia Fire District Board of Directors, Rock Township Ambulance Board of Directors, and currently serves on the Midwest Model United Nations Board of Directors, the Jefferson County Economic Development Board, and Jefferson County MEG Drug Task Force Board of Governors.
Carol Schanz – Class of 1978
Mrs. Schanz graduated from Windsor High School in 1978. Mrs. Schanz is the owner and president of H.W. Herrell Distributing Company. Mrs. Schanz donates countless hours to a variety of local charities and the Windsor Alumni Association.
Michael Seale – Class of 1984
Mr. Seale is a Captain within the United States Army National Guard. Mr. Seale was a member of Varsity Football (Captain, C0-MVP, All-Conference 1st team), Varsity Basketball (Captain), Track and Field, Symphonic Band (All District, Jazz Lab Band), Student Council, Fire Marshall Vice President, Shop Club, Computer Club, and Historian for the National Honor Society. Mr. Seale’s recent recognitions include: Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Afghanistan Campaign Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, NATO Medal, Iowa Leadership Ribbon with Torch, Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge, Army Physical fitness Badge, German Armed Forces Gold Badge for Military Proficiency, and Ranger Tab.
Jan (Dischino) Speck – Class of 1973
Ms. Speck is a counselor and A+ coordinator here at Windsor High School. Ms. Speck graduated from Windsor High School in 1973. She has a B. S. Degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a M. Ed. Degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis. In addition, she has served and continues to serve as a member on a multitude of Missouri State committee’s such as: The Advisory Committee for Missouri School Improvement Program, The Advisory Committee and “Writing Team” for Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Program, and Missouri School Counselor Association Program Committee/Past President’s Advisory Council. Currently she also serves as one of Windsor High School’s Student Council Sponsor. Her high school activities included: Student Council President, Varsity Cheerleader, Varsity Volleyball, Choir, and Band.
David Tettamble – Class of 1990
Mr. Tettamble is a Police Officer for the St. Charles Police Department. Mr. Tettamble was a member of Student Council, Football, Baseball, Track, Foreign Language Club and Varsity Club Weight Lifting. He received All-Conference second team and Honorable Mention for football.He was the Student Council President, Homecoming King, Rotary Student of the Month, and attended Boys State. Mr. Tettamble went on to play college football at Missouri Valley and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. Mr. Tettamble has served 15 years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and was assigned to SWAT, Detective Bureau, Fugitive Apprehension, Mobile Reserve and Patrol. Mr. Tettamble has received 7 awards of excellence and 3 Chief of Police Commendations. Mr. Tettamble has served 14 months in Iraq as an embedded law enforcement officer and was assigned to 4 brigade, 2nd infantry division and 2nd stryker cavalry regiment. During his service with both units he was directly involved in 250 missions. The missions yielded the capture of 450 insurgents who were directly involved in attacks on Coalition Forces, and the murders of innocent civilians. His units obtained approximately 80 death penalties of insurgents found guilty of attacks on them and coalition forces, which caused death or serious physical injury.
Doug Whitener – Class of 1978
Mr. Whitener established, broke, and maintained numerous records here at Windsor High School. Mr. Whitener graduated from Windsor High School in 1978. Mr. Whitener was All State Football 1st Team for 2 years, All State Track 7 times for individual events, a member of the State Champion Track Team in three individual events, Post Dispatch Scholar Athlete, All Conference Football for 4 years, Conference Champion Track in 10 individual events, Conference MVP of Track for 2 years, First 1,000 yard rusher at Windsor High School, Led Conference in Rushing and Scoring for 2 years, and his Senior year won all 47 individual races he ran. His high school activities included: Football, Track, Baseball, and Basketball.
Lt. Colonel William G. Young – Class of 1983
Lt. Col. Young is a 1983 graduate of Windsor High School; he was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO in 1988. Lt. Col. Young went on to earn his Air Battle Manager wings at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma in 1989. His aviation career includes over 4100 flying hours, including 1,718 combat and combat support hours as an air battle manager, naval flight officer, senior director, and mission crew commander. Lt. Col. Young has commanded and flown on missions during combat operations in Desert Shield/Storm, Provide Comfort, Southern/Northern Watch, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He has served in over seventeen combat tours to the Middle East. He has earned over a dozen major awards and decorations during his illustrious military career.Lt. Col. Young has been stationed in Tyndall AFB, Florida; Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; Norfolk Naval Air Station, Virginia; Miramar Naval Station, California; United States Military Training Mission in Saudi Arabia, Supreme Headquarter Allied Powers Europe in Mons, Belgium; Robins AFB, Georgia; and is currently stationed at the Langley AFB in Virginia. He is married to the former Linda E. Collins of New Orleans, LA and they have two children, William and Lauren.
Nicole Ziegelmeyer – Class of 1993
Ms. Ziegelmeyer is married to Mr. Brad Brown. She and her husband have one daughter, Summer. Ms. Ziegelmeyer is the President of Elite Contracting Inc. She has received the St. Louis Business Journal 30 under 30 Award and volunteers her time at the Haven House. In addition to the numerous awards and recognitions she has received for her abilities in speed skating. Ms. Ziegelmeyer is the 1992 Olympic Silver Medallist.
