* Meet Your Counselors!

Greetings from the Counselor’s Office!

Many times parents do not know their child has a guidance counselor available to them or they are unsure what the guidance counselor does. In short, we are here to help your child succeed in all school areas, including personal and social development, academic development, and career development. For this reason, our district has implemented the Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Program. For more information on the program itself, and what it means for you, your child, and your school counselor click here.

Counselors believe that education does not stop when the children leave the school building; instead it continues at home — with you, the parents. We want to do all that we can to be of the greatest help to you and your children; whether it be meeting with your child, meeting with you, or providing you with some helpful information regarding a concern you are dealing with. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have for your students.

A little about us…

Hi! My name is Tyler Cunningham, and I am one of the counselors at Windsor Intermediate Center. This is my 13th year in the Windsor School District.  My goals are to help students achieve their best in the classroom academically, as well as to ensure their emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
I work with all 5th grade classes and the following 4th grade classes: Schmitt, Pattengill, Belding. I teach model guidance lessons (whole class), I do social skills groups, and I see kids individually. I want to do what’s best for students, and I will work my best to do so.  I’m looking forward to a great year!

Thank you,

Tyler Cunningham

Hi!  My name is Rachel Gilmore, and I am one of the counselors at the Intermediate Center.  This is my first year working in the Windsor School District.  My children and I recently moved back to the Windsor area from Kennett, MO.  I have been working as a teacher and counselor in several districts in the Bootheel of Missouri for the past 20 years.  I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Social Studies education in 1998.  Since that time, I have worked to attain several advanced degrees.  I have Masters degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and School Counseling, I have completed courses for certification in Administration, and I have also completed a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.

I work with all 3rd grade classrooms, as well as several 4th grade classes.  I will be teaching whole class Model Guidance lessons, small group lessons, and seeing kids as needed. I look forward to meeting and working with the students at Windsor Intermediate Center this year!

I hope we all have a great year!!!

Rachel Gilmore
