“RAISING SMART KIDS”

The facts are in–Parents are the most important and valuable influences on their children’s grades. It’s not the amount of money you have, the education you have, which teacher your child has, or even the number of computers you have in your home. It’s what you do in the course of your normal, everyday life to encourage your child’s learning and understand of the world that makes all the difference! It helps to know that there are many simple activities you can add to the time your spend with your child–fun, everyday activities that can make the most of ther learning opportunities.

Some suggestions are:

A trip to the grocery store can help improve math skills, through the use of money, and weighs and measures in the produce department as well as using coupons, and reading labels.

Visit the local library, and read with them get things you all enjoy, even movies are available to you FREE with a library card!

Play games in the car going to and from activities too.

The goal here isn’t just for your children to get good grades, but rather to help them become better thinkers overall.

REMEMBER KIDS BASICALLY AIM TO PLEASE… AND YOU ARE THEIR TARGET!!
