If you live in Missouri, you have probably been asked the following phrase: “Where did you go to high school?” Well, I graduated from Mehlville Senior High School. Next, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harris-Stowe University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Social Studies. Finally, I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Baptist University.
This is my sixteenth year of teaching kindergarten, and my nineteenth year of teaching overall. I am very partial to “Kindergartenland,” as I refer to it. Windsor is a great place to be. I love it! It is so rewarding to be a part of these children’s’ lives. I provide a safe, meaningful, and fun learning environment for my students.
I have been happily married to my husband, Shaun, for eighteen years. I’m not only a Windsor teacher-I’m a Windsor parent! We have an fourteen year old daughter named Sydney, and we have an eleven year old son named Samuel. We also have a Stray Rescue pup, Willow! They are all a handful (hubby included), but they are fun!
I love being outdoors! My family and I enjoy boating, camping, four-wheeling, and fishing at the family farm. We also spend a lot of our summer in Florida, where we surf and paddle board. In my spare time (whenever that is!), I like to read.
The kiddos, also known as Hurricane Ruether!
